Civitas Turf Defense introduces its 2017 Early Order Program

Civitas Turf Defense from Intelligro is introducing its 2017 Early Order Program to superintendents, effective October 1, 2017, and extending to December 15, 2017, across the U.S.

Superintendents will have the chance save more as they order more  — a 75 to 199 gallon purchase will save 5 percent, 200 to 500 gallons will save 7.5 percent and a 501 or more gallon purchase will save 10 percent. Orders can be made at civitasturf.com/resources.

“Our Early Order Program (EOP) is popular among many of our superintendents as they plan for the year ahead and we encourage ordering today in time for fall applications,” says Oriana Persechini, category portfolio manager, Intelligro. “By applying now, turf will be primed to combat fall and winter stresses, so you can expect benefits like reduced disease pressure, delayed dormancy and early spring green up in 2018.”

Academic research and in-field results has shown Civitas Turf Defense maximizes the plant’s ability to withstand both biotic and abiotic stresses to better prepare turf against winter damage, and it is the only plant protection product with stress tolerance technology, with no known resistance, according to Intelligro.

“With increasing regulations and decreasing budgets, this program provides an opportunity to order more for less,” says Matt Weaver, senior technical advisor, Intelligro. “Civitas Turf Defense can also help to lower costs by enhancing IPM efficiencies and reducing turf’s requirements for inputs like water, fertilizer and other pesticides, and it’s OMRI listed for use in organic turfgrass management.”

As an additional incentive, members of the Civitas Turf Defense Rewards Program automatically receive double the rewards points when they purchase through the Early Order Program before December 1, 2017. Rewards for your golf course include an Apple Watch Sport, an LG TV, an HP Laptop and many more.
